Our customers sometimes ask us: " What does Fatrapark 2 mean ? " It is a common question that comes to a mind while searching for a holiday accommodation in Slovakia. We must admit it is not easy to crack it beside all the local names, adverts, brands and websites from the same area. It is not Fatrapark like Fatrapark
It seems like there are too many local terms around Fatrapark 2 that holiday makers often come across. Lets start with Fatrapark, as it is not the only one around. Fatrapark 2 Apartment House was built together with the neighbouring building by the same developer who gave buildings similar names: Fatrapark 1 and Fatrapark 2. Today Apartments Fatra (formerly Fatrapark 1) and Fatrapark 2 exist as 2 individual objects. Our building with apartments and own restaurant was built as latest project in the Hrabovo valley with most modern technology and materials used. As an example there are high quality double glazed windows, digital floor heating and modern bathroom equipment installed at Fatrapark 2. Apart from this advantage against other accommodation providers it is considered a multi functional complex that offers more than just a bed.
Fatrapark 2 has its own restaurant, reception desk, conference room and kids play areas. There is a fenced area with mountain sheep at the side of the building and large parking space with secured CCTV and ramp system.
What meaning has Liptov, Hrabovo, Skipark, Malinô Brdo, Velka Fatra etc
Liptov, Hrabovo valley, Skipark, Ružomberok, Malinô Brdo, Velka Fatra. What have all these in common? They all relate geographically. Liptov, where Fatrapark 2 stands is the most attractive and most visited tourist region in Slovakia. It is surrounded by national parks like Velka Fatra, Nizke Tatry (Low Tatras) and Vysoke Tatry (High Tatras). Fatrapark 2 (google map) stands in a quiet location of the holiday area called Hrabovo valley, just 3 km off the southern edge of Ruzomberok city. A bit far on the forest road from Hrabovo Apartments or Hotel Hrabovo, that are situated by the lake Hrabovo and cable lifts.
All of accommodation facilities in Hrabovo are within the near distance of Malinô Brdo Ski & Bike resort, formerly known as Skipark Ružomberok. One of the best skiing slopes in Slovakia goes across the Malinô Brdo hill, just 50m far from Fatrapark 2 building. In winter, skiing is the most popular activity to do in the area and our accommodation is adapted to skiers needs well. During seasons with no snow around, usually April to early December, Fatrapark 2 is used by hikers, mountain bikers, holiday makers seeking famous Slovak aquaparks and many other tourists form around the world who are coming to enjoy Slovakia. Fatrapark 2 is designed for families and couples, but also for business meetings, conferences or weddings. Fatrapark 2 apartments are mainly for recreational purposes, but it is a great location for a long stay living too.
